Grapevine wreaths are my favorite bases for DIY wreaths. Non only do they await pretty and add together great texture to your wreath, but it is a slice of block to stick the stems of artificial flowers in between the grapevine branches.

Supply List

To create this wreath, y'all'll demand:

  • Grapevine Wreath
  • Artificial Flowers (I used two pocket-size bouquets from Michaels' seasonal aisle)
  • Wire Cutter
  • Cardstock (small scraps will do, or you could selection up a single piece of scrapbook paper at Michaels)
  • String
  • Mini Clothespins
  • Blackness Sharpie
  • Pair of scissors

Prep Your Flowers

To become started, gather your supplies and use your wire cutter to cut the flower bouquets apart. Cut the stems long enough so the piddling leaves stay fastened to each blossom.

I like the off-centered look of the flowers on 1 side of the wreath. I started my flowers near the height of the right side and layered them all the way to the bottom.

Create A Mini Banner

Next upward is the pennant imprint! You'll first need to cut mini triangles out of your carte stock. No need to mensurate, just eyeball it! Once I had 1 triangle cut out, I used it every bit a stencil to make the balance.

And so utilise your Sharpie for the lettering. I decided to spell "HELLO" on mine, just y'all could do something different. I made the same type of banner for this wreath and spelled "Autumn."

Adhere The Imprint

Tie your string to branches on the behind of the wreath so it stretches across the center of the wreath horizontally. And then utilize the mini clothespins to clip on your letters!

If y'all don't take footling clothespins, you could use other mini clips, add modest holes to the messages and thread them on the cord or even just record the string to the dorsum of each letter.
