Trivia

  • In Animal Crossing, Chiliad. One thousand. does in fact say his name is Totakeke, but prefers to just be known as K.Chiliad. Slider. However, he has not mentioned this in subsequent English releases.
  • K.K. is based on an Animate being Crossing audio designer, Kazumi Totaka. In Japanese culture, the family name is said before the personal name; his name therefore is said Totaka Kazumi in Japanese. That tin can be shortened to "Totaka K.," which sounds similar "Totakeke."
  • In New Leafage he has the voice of a lazy villager.
  • In New Horizons he has the voice of a smug villager.
  • In Fauna Crossing, K.K. will announced in a spot-lighted room if a memory bill of fare has not been inserted or if the game'due south clock needs to exist reset.
    • He is also the first character the player sees when they play the game 'for the first time' (if the memory card has no Animal Crossing information on it, as if they are making a town for the start time). K.1000. will welcome the player to the globe of Brute Crossing. He will talk about how absurd it is to exist living on your own, but mentions that it tin be lone. He tells the role player they can 'invite more friends' (create up to 3 more characters) to move in to the town so they won't exist as lonely. Later that, the player will be greeted past a villager of their town to start upwards the game, unless there's no memory card or the clock needs to reset, as stated to a higher place.
  • One of Chiliad.K. Slider's songs is actually a song called Totaka's Song, made by the Brute Crossing audio designer. The song appears in a lot of games he has worked on. In the Animal Crossing games, Totaka's song is referred to every bit Yard.K. Song.
  • He appears alongside Rosie and Tom Nook in the 2010 Nintendo Collector's Edition of Monopoly.
  • When talking to a player, he will change his rhymes and phrases depending on the gender(for instance: to a boy, "My ax is hot to play, so cop a seat, Pete." to a girl, " My axe is hot to play, so cop a chair, Claire."). Pete and Claire are the names of 2 of the male person and female person protagonists from Harvest Moon, a life simulation video game series that is sometimes compared to Animal Crossing.
  • According to the K.Chiliad. Slider amiibo page, near the end of the info passage, it reveals that Isabelle has a crush on him, and joking by giving a 'Nobody could blame her, right?' type at the end of the passage.
  • K.K Slider shares his birthday with Nana. They both accept a birthday on Baronial 23rd.
  • Out of all the animals in the game, he is the but animal to not habiliment clothing.
  • In Urban center Folk, K.K.'s model is designed in such a manner that information technology does not appear properly when implemented (by hacking) in other areas.
    • For instance, if (through hacking), his model were set in the identify of a character that walks upright, one of his legs would be permanently bent, and one of his arms would exist disproportionately long.
    • This is because his model is designed assuming K.1000. will never appear anywhere else other than in The Roost on Sabbatum nights. His model is designed to appear correctly when he is on the stool and holding his guitar, only not when walking upright.
  • Yard.K. is the first character to interact with the actor in the Animal Crossing series, giving a monologue in the original Doubutsu no Mori and Animate being Crossing direct later on exiting the championship screen for the first time. This moment is alluded to in New Horizons, during which K.K. first appears to the player in a dream subsequently their first twenty-four hours on the island.
  • In a character popularity poll for Animal Crossing held by Nintendo in Japan, G.One thousand. Slider ranked 1st with 3,112 votes.
  • In early on installments, G.M.'due south artillery are too short in-game for his right paw to really achieve the strings of his guitar. In New Leaf, his model's arms are long enough to reach the guitar strings, merely they still practise not; his posture does not allow for information technology, as his arm reaches over the cease of the guitar. New Horizons corrects the issue past adjusting his playing posture, so his arm reaches over the middle of his guitar instead.
  • In Urban center Folk, some cranky villagers believe that his twenty-four hour period job is Phineas, handing out prizes at the City.
  • One of K.K.'s quotes from Wild World - "Those industry fat cats endeavour to put a price on my music, but information technology wants to exist complimentary." - gained notoriety on various news websites, as information technology was believed to promote illegal file sharing. In response, Nintendo of America's vice president of corporate affairs at the time, Perrin Kaplan, stated that Thou.K.'south quote does not reflect the views of the company, simply that he is "a costless spirit who cannot be bought and sold for any amount of coin."
  • In New Horizons, ii stickers can be seen on the back of Grand. One thousand.'s guitar that feature drawings of Brewster and Dr. Shrunk, probable referencing The Roost and Club LOL, the venues K.K. performed at in previous games. These stickers can merely exist seen when listening to Grand.K. live as the camera rotates effectually him; however, they can exist seen more than conspicuously on the textures for One thousand. One thousand.'s guitar.
